Screw Ethanol, Get Biobor EB, Win Stuff

Elite Series Contest: Enter Before Noon Today

Ethanol sucks. Yeah, I said it again. Another friggin’ needless government subsidy that costs us all in multiple ways, including messing up our outboards.

Luckily we have some remedies, one being Biobor EB (BYE-oh-bore? bee-OH-bore? I’m going with the former). This product is “formulated to prevent the separation of ethanol/gasoline fuel blends, which helps combat the negative effects of ethanol in fuel tanks and engines while increasing engine performance, efficiency and fuel stability.”

So why are we posting about this today – two reasons you’ll be interested:

1. Biobor EB manufacturer Hammonds Fuel Additives Inc. is sponsoring two Elite Series pros, Bradley Roy and Cliff Crochet. So the company is putting some bucks into bass fishing, which is good.

CEO Allan Hohman said: “Bradley and Cliff are great ambassadors for both their sport and for our company. Our goal is to spread the word that protecting motors from the harmful effects of ethanol is a must [and] Biobor EB, the Ethanol Buster, effectively treats 45% more gasoline than the leading fuel stabilizer on the market. So in addition to eliminating repair bills, we also save boaters money on their fuel treatment.”

[Allan, if it’s me I’m going with Ethanol Buster as the name man!]

Btw, Bradley was the Elite Series Rookie of the Year last season (the whole ROY concept started by cough BassFan cough back in the day), and Cliff was the runner up.

2. You can win stuff – for each Elite Series event – from Hammonds/Biobor by voting on whether Bradley or Cliff finish higher, and then predict how many gallons of gas your pick will use in practice and the event. The closest person wins, and the deadline for entry is the first day of an Elite event (today!) at noon.

“Stuff” means a case of Biobor EB, a pair of Rugged Shark fishin’ shoes, and a selection of baits from Taylor Man’s Custom Lures and Bill Lewis Lures.

    Go look at the winners.

My question is how the H did Cliff Crochet manage to only burn 37 gallons of fuel at T-Bend?
