The folks at Water Gremlin have this thing called “The Sinkerizer” on their website. Kind of like a Color-C-Lector for sinkers – as long as they’re Water Gremlins, and apparently only if they’re lead or steel. Doesn’t look like that company is in the tungsten biz.
Since I apparently have nothing better do, I choose “Bass” as the species I’m fishing for. Tempted to pick “Gar.”
Then I click on “What are the conditions?” Here’s what pops up:
Huh? Can’t use Water Gremlins out of a boat?
I choose “River (slow).” Figure some basses be in there.
For water and bottom type (“bottom type” sounds funny), I pick “Clear water, rock bottom.”
Finish it up with “non-leaded” for sinker type.
Here’s what I get:
Not bad – and all could be used from a boat.
My favorite line is under the dropshot option: “lunker keepers.” What’s a lunker keeper, a 2.5-pounder?
To be fair, us hardened bassers ain’t really the Water Gremlin market…but I’ll stick to my tungsten weights anyhow.
