EZ Troll, the folks who came out with the recessed foot pedal tray, recently came out with a plastic step for boat trailers. After seeing the pics, I want one!
The EZ Troll Step qualifies as a “duh” product. As in: Duh, why didn’t I think of that. I gotta say that I’m sick of leaning over gunwales, cracking my knees on the winch and whatever else goes along with boat ownership. Or at least I now am sick of it after seeing the EZ Troll Step in “action.”
There is a press release on the product, but it’s unneeded – just look at the pics. You can buy ’em direct from the manufacturer here. Note that it’s 80 bucks – wish it was half that, and yet still my knees are begging me to get one….

I don’t think that is all that new of a product. I could swear I remember reading about it somewhere at least a year ago.
As for the price Jay, I’m sure if you check the seats in your Mercedes you’d find enough loose change to buy two of them… send me the other one if you like. 🙂

I’ve got one on my 2011 Stratos Evo and I love it. I have mine on the starboard side, just ahead of the console. I can now reach into the middle tackle storage compartment, as well as step into the boat without stepping onto the fenders. Good product.
