Spam Site’s Goofball Bassin’ Advice

Google’s usefulness has been waning, and one reason is its ability to be exploited by sites like this one, which today produced an “article” about bass fishing that is as dumb as it is useless. In other words, it has some funny stuff.

Here are some choice excerpts, typos not corrected:

> Bass fish is one of the most common game fish species. It is found in seas, lakes, rivers and ponds. Modern bass fishing has evolved into a multi-billion dollar industry and sport, especially in Europe and North America.

> There are two common mistakes that failures in bass fishing make. The first mistake is the proverbial empty vessel’s curse. This comes from talking too much and doing little. There are people who talk a lot about bass fishing and yet are never found in the boat fishing.

> The second mistake is choosing to fish in a bass poor dam. It does not matter how much effort you put into the exercise, if the dam does not have fish you will not catch anything. Some people are looking for things in places where they are not found. Apples are not found on mango trees.

> As every fisherman knows there are bass rich dams, and there are bass poor dams. It pays to know one from the other.

Got that?
