Lots of folks love Strike King’s XD line of cranks for good reason. Know that the numbers do NOT refer to depth, as they do in the Rapala DT (“Dives To”) series. They refer to the “series size.” So what you need to know is running depth – and here you go:
5XD, 10-lb line = 14-15′
6XD, same line = 19-20′
8XD, ditto = 20+’
