Would You Fish This Starfish Bait?

Far be it from me to doubt the bait of any bait-designer, let alone the folks at Reins,  but…would you fish this?

Or maybe a better question is, would any of you be confident this bait would get in the mouth of any bass that wasn’t an absolute giant?

Here’s the bait again:

Reminds me of:

I think another company made the same thing but I don’t remember the name.

I’d fish the “Patrick”, but I would likely just glue two of my existing stickbaits together to make one.

I’d definitely fish it. It’s intended to be fished on a wacky jig, hooked right through the middle. A number of guys will put two worms on their wacky jigs, rigged at different angles to bulk it up and get a different look, this just combines them into one soft plastic.

a-rig with one arm on each hook maybe. reminds me of the one shaped like a y. we all have caught tiny bass on large plastics so i think a keeper could eat it without trouble. have to experiment with rigging. PZ

You folks are missing out!!! I first picked these up about 3 years ago, think whacky style, as in a flick shake, you hook it right in the middle, and yeah they eat the heck out of it, bedding bass cannot stand it, they eat it every time. I’ve even seen guys double up on senkos to get the same effect, but these are easier, and way more effective. never had a problem hooking a fish either, haven’t you guys ever seen underwater footage of a bass inhaling a lure? a super soft piece of plastic isn’t going to stop a bass from slurping it in.

Ask Seiji Kato if crossing two worms like that works…

Bass Pro Shimmy X2, similar, but legs at a slightly different angle.

I would use it! I believe one of the lure designers at Jackall won an elite series back-of-boat tournament using two flick shake worms.
