1. Saturday I caught around 100 fish by myself. Sunday I slowed down and caught over 50 bass flipping up to 9 1/2 lbs.
– Dude who recently fished Lake Picachos in Mazatlan, Mexico. Just the "3rd or 4th American" to fish it.
> The lake is loaded and I mean loaded with timber. In 2 days I caught 158 bass by myself.
Here's what those basses be lookin' like – skinny! (hahaha)
2. I don't consider myself sponsor material.
– TN's Adam Wagner (great guy, btw) who finished 10th at the Classic, and got there by winnin' the Bassmaster Weekend Series. Adam also won a little derby called the BFL All-American in 2009.

4. Who's got the Classic claim?
Saw a couple items on this or that bait being the deal in some way or the other at the Gville Classic. Going through my notes today to see what's what, will let you know what I find.
5. Clunn still frickin' amazing.
Randy Howell might as well have been fishin' with hand grenades the last day o' the Classic. Huge bag, comes back from 11th, wins it. But this:
> Rick Clunn still holds the Classic records for heaviest daily catch (33-05 in 1976) and heaviest tournament catch (75-09 n 1984). Here he is with Ray Scott after his fourth championship (1990), where he set the mark for biggest comeback.
What amazes me the most is that Clunn was a dang computer coder before he became a pro fisherman!
