How to Draw the Iconic Leaping Bass

Ah, the leaping bass. Ever since the original B.A.S.S. logo, an icon of the sport. It represents the strength, the beauty, the passion that is blah, blah, blah.

You know what I’m talking about, but here’s the bottom line: Even though ESPN spent $250K (if memory serves) to redraw the BASS logo, all you need to do your version of it is the ability to draw a few basic shapes.

Okay, you also need some free time (like this week, maybe, or after deer season) and some instructions, which you can find here and are the point of this post…..

That is a pretty simple way to do it… however I just Google “bass images”, then snatch the one I want, modify it using GIMP (free image manipulation software similar to Photoshop), and voila! But drawing it could be good too.
