Belated BP Fantasy Fishing Winners

[Sorry for the delayed announcement here, folks, Jason got distracted by “other things.”]

The inaugaural season of the BassParade Fantasy league is officially in the books, and we’ve got a little catching up to do.

J. Embry, we owe you some tackle! Embry’s 1,256 points at the Arkansas River was enough to hold off 2nd place J. Scott by a single measly point. That’s the equivalent of winning a bass derby 1/100th of an ounce. I bet J. Scott wishes we were giving out prizes for runners up right about now. Sorry man, no can do.

Something weird happened at the Wheeler Lake derby – we had a tie! Since we never thought about what we’d do in the event of a tie, lucky for us the folks at Strike King did – and sent us a couple extra prize packages just in case. D. Houston and R. Benbo shared the top spot with 1,329 points – but don’t worry guys, you won’t have to share their Strike King goodies. There’s a-plenty to go ’round.

M. Glasgow led the BassParade Fantasy League at the halfway point of the season. He played like KVD and hung around the top of the heap throughout the second half and then swooped in for the kill in the fourth quarter. Glasgow finished the season ranked 27th out of ALL B.A.S.S. fantasy players with 9,980 points, and that means we’ve got an ultra-, super-, mega-awesome Strike King prize package with his name on it.

These boxes of Strike King swag have been taunting us all year long, and frankly, if we don’t get rid of this stuff soon it’s going to end up in our tackle bags. All you guys that won, please, do us a favor and put us out of our misery by sending your shipping info to bubbas(at)bassparade(dot)com. We’ll throw this stuff on the big brown truck and get it headed your direction!
